Dodge’s Durango SRT has all the goodies of a proper hot hauler but has lacked one important element – race stripes. That, and more, is being remedied as the brand rolls out two new appearances packages for the sporty SUV.
A Dark Horse
First is the Black, which adds Midnight Grey Metallic and Gloss Black exterior accents. As such, all of the badging gets the treatment along with the mirror caps. There’s also Eclipse Black Tint exhaust tips and 20-inch Matte Vapor wheels with the option to swap in the Brass Monkey ones instead at no charge. All this rings up at $1,495.

Redline Stripe
For those that want to be track-ready, Dodge is also offering a Redline Stripe for $1,295. It’s a full-length Satin Black center stripe highlight with Redline Red accent tracers on each edge.
Nothing is changed with the SRT’s powertrain, which still retains its 392-ci HEMI V8. That pumps out 475 horsepower and clicks off zero to sixty miles per hour times of 4.4 seconds and quarter-mile times of 12.9 seconds. Not to mention it can tow 8,700 pounds and carry a boatload of stuff inside.
The Durango SRT Black with the Redline stripe will be on display at the Chicago Auto Show, Feb. 8-17. Dealers will begin taking orders in March.
