Acura's NSX supercar features a twin-turbocharged V6 engine.

An Inside Look at the Heartbeat of the Acura NSX

Acura’s NSX hybrid supercar is an impressive machine and a lot of that awe comes from its twin-turbocharged V6 engine. Each one is hand-built by a single master builder and all within in a specialized facility tucked away in the brand’s Anna Engine Plant in Anna, Ohio.

The engine isn’t just set up for the road but also to race. Acura’s NSX GT3 race car has used the V6 with little-to-no modification.

To tell and show more, Acura released a video that highlights what all goes into bringing each NSX engine to life. Besides going through the lengthly production process, there is an interview with Ted Klaus, who served as the global development leader for NSX. Klaus is now president of Honda Performance Development and oversees the brand’s racing program. Watch it below.
